When it's raining outside and the air is cold, I don't particuallry like waking up and putting on a full face of makeup. For one, it makes my skin feel congested if I'm wearing too much make-up when the weather's horrid and for a second, it just takes too long. I like to reach for an easy make-up with minimal products that will make me look fresh and awake and ready to face the day. And I think i've managed to do just that with this simple five product make-up look which if you're not too fussy, will probably only take about 5 minutes too. 

I love the colder weather months when everything is autumn themed, including clothes and make-up. I'm usually quite a minimal make-up wearer but during Autumn I like to 'frost' my look up a little and tone it all down to more neutrals and grey hues. I also like fresh looking, simple skin and I really like to play with the fashion side instead. I thought I'd give you a little insight into how I'm going to be wearing my make-up during the colder months. I'm also looking to do a few 'fashion inspired' posts over the next few days to see you into the colder weather so keep an eye out for that. 

Just a pre warning - I've tried to take a few 'during' shots for you and some of them, I do look a little silly but its all in the name of blog writing for you guys, enjoy. 

I've always been inspired by Fearne Cotton and think she is an absolute bomb shell and huge style icon. I actually took a picture of her hair to the hairdressers when I wanted to get my blonde fixed and go a little lighter and have to say, was very pleased with the outcome I got from this. I was looking through Google to find a few images and found this gorgeous shot below with a simple yet very girly makeup look and wanted to recreate this. As before, the above images are my final look that I to created with the products that are listed below and I will briefly explain the techniques I used to create this look.
