It's a small squeeze over my booty but then mine is rather large and then it fits snuggly on my waist just how it should. There is a small bit of stretch in the waist but not a huge amount so make sure you allow ample sizing if purchasing this skirt.






I decided to style the skirt with my trusty Smithy vintage denim shirt as a jacket teamed with a simple black vest top. I wore the Una Mesh Skirt* as a high waisted skirt and paid amoge to the 50's (or at least that's what I was channelling) and wanted to 'grunge' the look up a little with my New Look gladiator strap sandals. I have to say I didn't realise when selecting the skirt that the material would be mesh and when I opened the package I felt a little disappointed. However, I have to say the skirt one looks MUCH nicer than I thought and will be perfect for those summer evenings or picnic days out. I also thought i'd show off my new Lo and Sons super secure handbag (it has a hefty thick zip that once pulled across, has a twist lock to lock into place. Amazing right?) from TkMaxx and my new Kimizee gem necklace which is handmade and utterly gorgeous, I will be posting about it in a blog post soon!
