What woman doesn't love flowers? They just seem to perk up a room right away with their scent and gorgeous colours and bring a little nature indoors. They're celebratory, give in times of grief and given to show affection and love - also we love to buy them for ourselves just as a little gift or décor for the house. So when iFlorist approached me asking if I'd like to review one of their gorgeous bouquets I really couldn't refuse. Apoligies about the photos, I am currently moving house so all photos are unedited and taken with my Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

In the UK alone, iFlorist has a network of over 1,700 skilled local florists each of whom is able to connect to upwards of 20,000 overseas florists. Delievering flowers within 4 hours across the globe has given them an enviable reputation for quality and service. They offer a diverse range of products and not only do they offer stunning bouquets, they also have gifting options of champagne, luxury chocolates and hampers.

The flowers took quite a while to actually be delivered - I'd received samples from etail PR one week prior to these when the confirmation came through at the same time for both companies. The flowers pictured on the site are stunning and I was due to receive the medium bunch Rose Garden* priced at £39.90 for 20 stems which included a free personalised card, which is rather expensive for a bouquet but I understood that these were not going to be your average rose bunch you can buy at your local Tesco - or so I thought. The roses I received were actually a little different to the ones featured on the site, My bouquet seemed to also feature some red roses and some randomly coloured lilac ones too but regardless were a beautiful bouquet, I actually quite liked that they had some additional colour in the bunch as it made the whole arrangement pop.

When they did arrive, I noticed quite a few of the roses had some wilted petals and looked a little in need of some TLC and some much needed water. I popped them into a vase with some water and added the dry flower food included with the bouquet hoping to spruce them up a little but two days after delivery, they are almost all completely wilted and due to be going in the bin I'm afraid.

I have sent iFlorist an independent email asking them about the quality of the flowers and the fact that they only lasted 2 days after being delivered and whether this is a normal complaint or not. I understand flowers being delivered via mail in a closed box may not be the best quality after lacking a little love and sunshine but I would've expected more than a 2 day life span on something costing almost £40. iFlorist have excellent customer service and replied to my email within the hour of sending offering me a replacement bouquet and sincerely apologising for the wilted flowers.

iFlorist's reply to complaint about the quality of flowers; "Dear Chloe Davis, Thank you very much for contacting iFlorist, I am very sorry to hear your gift has been received in a poor standard, we appreciate your email and would like to amend any issues concerning the quality of the product received. Please allow me to offer my sincerest apologies with regards to this. We take the quality of our flowers very seriously and want to make sure you are completely satisfied with the product you have ordered. I would like to arrange for a fresh bouquet of flowers to be delivered to the recipient to replace the product received. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Kindest Regards"

Overall, although the experience I have had with iFlorist started off with a poor quality product, they soon fixed the issue and offered excellent customer service in providing me with a fresh bunch of flowers. http://www.iflorist.co.uk/ offer flowers for all occasions and tastes and have a speedy delievery option if you are looking for something a little last minute, perfect for those forgotten birthdays or mothers day. If you are interested in purchasing the Rose Garden bouquet visit the direct link http://www.iflorist.co.uk/flowers/rose-garden and also check out their other bouquets for all occasions.
