Harington's Hotel is a 300 year old house set in the narrow cobbled streets of Bath's city centre and is a family run hotel a short walk from the Bath Spa train station and just a few minutes walk from the high street, central pubs and restaurants. This bold, contemporary and friendly hotel offers thirteen (numbered 1-12 and then 14 so those superstitious of the number '13' can feel at ease!) boutique style rooms all with individual styling and themes. Owners Peter and Melissa invited us along for a lavish afternoon of pampering and a private tour of the hotels and apartments. That's right - not only does the hotel offer 13 gorgeously styled rooms all located under one roof, but if your after something a little different there is also a town house available that can sleep up to eight guests and a stylish modern loft apartment for adults only (12 years and over welcome) and also a city pad that can sleep up to three.

Upon arrival, the friendly staff greeted us in the gorgeously decorated front entrance and guided us through to the coffee lounge and bar area where we were treated to prosseco and cocktails and some canapees. We were also treated to some decadent Charlotte Brunswick chocolates which are made locally in the UK and sold in Bath. So when your stay is over your can purchase a box to nibble on the way home! The chocolates are made from the finest ingredients, some even sourced from Belgium and my favourite flavour had to be the Sea Salted Caramel.

Each of the 13 rooms in Harington's has it's own boutique feel and styling dedicated to that room but also at the same time feels super cosy and almost like your staying at a stylish friends home. All mod con's are included such as Wifi, flat screen TV and everything you need for a peaceful slumber. Although I myself did not stay at the hotel, the website specifies each room has a individually-sprung mattress and Egyptian cotton sheets. No two rooms are the same - each offer luxury, bespoke furnishings and designs and Melissa really has given each room it's own feel. I was a huge fan of the vintage style telephones and little dear heads adorning the walls. Attention to detail was given to each room and it goes without saying that every room I viewed, was equally as gorgeous.

The whole afternoon felt quintessentially British and Peter the owner spared no expense to make sure us ladies had a fab afternoon. After a private tour of the hotel where many photos were snapped and interiors adored, we were given the option to enjoy a dip in the private Hot Tub which was settled in a patio at the back of the hotel accessible through the bar. If you are a guest of the hotel, you can book the Hot Tub for yourselves at jusgt £7.50 per person for 1 hour use which includes a robe and slippers also. Myself and the gorgeous sisters Sophie and Alex from http://saintsonaplane.com/ had no trouble in stripping off and jumping into the hot tub. Although a little chillier than expected this was such a fabulous setting to have a little girly chat and sip back some bubbles.

After coming in from the slightly chilly exterior, we were given more treats in the form of a hot chocolate station to warm our cold cockles and some pampering from the lovely team at the Lush Bath store. Joey gave me a complimentary hand and arm massage using the Hottie massage bar and the Strawberry Feels Forever massage bar. My favourite had to be the strawberry feels forever bar as it was super creamy and sweet smelling - right up my alley.

The whole afternoon was just utter bliss and I never knew such a gem of a hotel existed only a train ride away from home! If like myself though you are more of a local, you can book in for afternoon tea and just treat yourself to a smaller piece of luxury.
