It's not very often I'm the subject of the photo, I very much prefer being behind the scenes of shoots but today was an exception for the books. My gorgeous cousin Bonnie has just opened her own MUA business and she wanted me of all people to model for her. 

It seemed rude not to go and take some autumnal shoots with such glam makeup. Didn't she do a fantastic job?!

After yesterday's Autumn themed post, I started to flick through my wardrobe to look at some potential outfits for an Autumn Fashion post and realised how unprepared I am for the colder weather. I bought a Topshop coat a few weeks ago which is perfection and a few double sided warm scarves but that's literally it ... eeek. 

So, whilst waiting for my new job to start which I will be getting confirmation on in the next week or two (exciting times!) I've been preparing what items I'm going to buy when I finally have a healthy bank balance once again ready to see the Autumn/Winter season in style. My Autumn/Winter staples are statement coats with tartan scarves, a large black handbag to chuck the essentials in, faux leather accents with chunky knit cardigans, some cute bobble hats for those windy and bad hair days and of course, cosy tights. What are your A/W staples?

I love the colder weather months when everything is autumn themed, including clothes and make-up. I'm usually quite a minimal make-up wearer but during Autumn I like to 'frost' my look up a little and tone it all down to more neutrals and grey hues. I also like fresh looking, simple skin and I really like to play with the fashion side instead. I thought I'd give you a little insight into how I'm going to be wearing my make-up during the colder months. I'm also looking to do a few 'fashion inspired' posts over the next few days to see you into the colder weather so keep an eye out for that. 

Just a pre warning - I've tried to take a few 'during' shots for you and some of them, I do look a little silly but its all in the name of blog writing for you guys, enjoy.
