NEW GIRL IN THE CITY OOTD FEATURING DR MARTEN'S

So as you may have seen on LOVEFROMLUCKY, I don't really do outfit posts that much and there seems to be a few reasons really for that. 1. I don't have many people around to help me or may people who would be happy to help 2. My self confidence issues make it a bit awkward for me to do it alone and 3. When I do find someone to help, I kind of freeze in front of the camera and get a bit awkward. On Monday, I met up with the gorgeous Emily from http://mermaidgossip.com/ and Gina from http://bristolfashionista.com/ fellow Bristol bloggers as they wanted some help with outfit posts and I saw it as a great opportunity to meet some new like minded people. Emily reluctantly after helping her and Gina, got me to do some and just made me go with the flow. I've never really felt comfortable with other people taking my picture but it was actually so nice to have someone help and also direct me a little, see point three for why I can't pose!  All photo credit goes to - Emily from http://mermaidgossip.com/

The reason I've gone for the title 'New Girl in the City' is because well, it was kind of new for me to pose around the city. We did have a few passer by's asking us what we were doing which usually I'd get all awkward but Emily quite quickly replied we were doing outfit posts for our blog and they smiled and toddled off. It was like being in another world. You can tell the newbies from the pro's when it comes to this, I did a few awkward poses but Emily worked her magic and I love some of these shots, it's really got me pumped to do more with them! And Gina just went for it, also getting changed behind a little building in a backstreet! It was so lovely to meet the girls and some fellow bloggers as this is a first for me and I can't wait to do it again. Watch this space guys!
